Campfire Institute Summer Camp 2026 — Year 11!
August 16–22 | Belgrade, Maine
We cannot wait to welcome campers to our 11th summer of Campfire magic — and to an incredible new home in Belgrade, Maine. This year’s camp opens at 3 PM on Sunday, August 16, kicking off six nights of pure, joyful, classic summer camp goodness.
Set on a breathtaking waterfront, our 2026 campus has everything that makes camp feel like camp — and then some. Campers will settle into updated, beautiful cabins, gather in a cozy traditional dining hall, and spend their days moving between favorite camp activities, sparkling lake access, wide-open game fields, tennis courts, shady hangout spots, and lots of space to breathe in summer. From morning polar bear swim, to golden-hour games and crackling campfires, this experience is the real deal.
Campfire Institute Summer Camp is for girls and gender non-conforming youth ages 7-14, and it’s designed to be both wildly fun and deeply meaningful. Our days are filled with swimming and boating, arts and crafts, group games and challenges, camp songs, and all the little in-between moments that turn into lifelong memories. Nights bring stories, all camp laughter, and that cozy, connected feeling that only happens at camp.
More than anything, camp is a place to grow. Campers practice independence, try new things, build confidence, and experience being part of a community where they are celebrated exactly as they are. It’s joyful, grounding, silly, brave, creative — and yes, so much fun.
